Therapy for Women

Women often carry a lot of mental, emotional, and relational stress. Individual therapy is a space to slow down, gain understanding, and work through what’s weighing on you. We’ll move at your pace through Connect → Insight → Rebuild → Maintain so you can feel grounded, confident, and purposeful.

Common Reasons Women Seek Help:

  • Relationship strain (dating, marriage, friendship conflict, family dynamics)

  • Grief, loss, or major life transitions (move, divorce, new season of life)

  • Healing from past hurts or trauma and rebuilding a sense of safety

  • Faith questions, identity, or aligning life with values

  • Anxiety, worry, overwhelm, or burnout

  • Stress from balancing roles (work, caregiving, marriage, motherhood)

  • Low mood, depression, or feeling “stuck”

  • Confidence, self-worth, and people-pleasing patterns

  • Boundaries and difficulty saying “no” without guilt

  • Coping with criticism, conflict, or perfectionism

  • Coping with health challenges or chronic conditions (new diagnosis, ongoing symptoms, pain, fatigue, medical stress, postpartum, infertility, perimenopause/menopause, body changes)*

*While not a substitute for medical care, counseling can help with stress, grief, identity shifts, and coping as you adjust to symptoms or treatment.

How We’ll Work Together

Connect — Begin with safety and trust. We’ll take time to understand your story, your strengths, and what you need most right now. Our work would be paced, collaborative, and supportive. Using a Solution-Focused lens, we set meaningful goals together.

Insight — As you build steadiness, we start noticing patterns: what tends to set you off, what you tell yourself in those moments, and how your body and emotions respond. Using CBT, we explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and, through Attachment Science, we uncover underlying needs (such as safety, connection, reassurance, or boundaries) that may be shaping your reactions.

Rebuild — With clarity in place, we practice change in real-life ways. You’ll learn practical tools and coping skills, build healthier thought patterns, and create new habits that support emotional regulation, confidence, and wise boundaries. We’ll also strengthen your resilience, values, and faith, so growth doesn’t feel like starting from scratch.

Thrive — Finally, we focus on helping progress last. We build a sustainable plan that fits your actual life: support systems, daily rhythms, and strategies for when stress hits. Drawing from Existential Therapy, we keep returning to meaning, identity, and purpose so you’re not only managing symptoms, but living with greater purpose and hope. Check-in sessions can help you stay grounded, adjust as life changes, and keep moving forward.
